Obtaining a Tibet Travel Permit for International Visitors

The Tibet Permit is a necessary travel document that you must get after receiving your Chinese visa. This permission permits you to visit Tibet and is issued by the Tibet Tourism Development Committee in Lhasa. The permission will be provided within a week of your arrival in Lhasa and is only available through an authorized travel agency.
